Course Outline for AKE and ICT The above mentioned courses are both a 1/2 credit course. They are run at the same time. The first half is AKE and it will take approximately 10 weeks. If you happen to fail this course then you will have to repeat it the following semester if there is room or the next school year. Both of these courses are required to graduate.
The AKE section of the semester will focus on the following:
Word
PowerPoint
Publisher
The ICT section of the semester will focus on the following
Excel
Digital Citizenship/Technology
The grading system is as follows:
30% Tests
40% Custom
30% Classroom Content
On my Wiki you will find a page that is entitled Assignments. This is the place where you will come everyday to see what assignments are given and when they will be due. No assignments will be printed unless I ask for a specific assignment. All assignments are to be saved where I specify, whether that is in your H-drive or here on your wiki. I will let you know what folder and/or where to put the assignments.
CLASSROOM RULES No cell phones are to be used in the class unless instructed by the teacher. No hats are allowed in the classroom. Ipods are ok to use unless I am instructing. Do not leave items in the class as other classes use this room and items will go missing.
